De origen asi\u00e1tico, la paciente fue confundida con otra de origen similar, que deb\u00eda someterse a un legrado, operaci\u00f3n que se realiza para vaciar el contenido del \u00fatero tras un aborto o un parto. La mujer, embarazada de cuatro meses y en perfecto estado de salud, se someti\u00f3 a la operaci\u00f3n a su pesar, antes de abortar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al igual que ocurre con la pena de muerte, el riesgo de un error m\u00e9dico de este tipo hace necesario obligar a prohibir el aborto&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El portavoz del hospital declar\u00f3:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abHemos expresado nuestro m\u00e1s profundo pesar y nuestras disculpas a la paciente y a toda su familia por este desafortunado suceso y le hemos asegurado que haremos todo lo posible para mitigar los da\u00f1os en la medida de lo posible e indemnizarla\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfC\u00f3mo piensan indemnizarla?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el abogado de la v\u00edctima, el personal deber\u00eda haberse dado cuenta de que la paciente hab\u00eda firmado un formulario de consentimiento que no entend\u00eda.
